Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation in a horse can take time and often become frustrating. Horses not normally stalled for long periods of time can become frustrated, sour and often destructive while healing. Our staff takes the time to make your horse feel content and comfortable, all while bringing your horse back to top shape as quickly as possible.

While at our facility, your horse will receive the individual care and treatment they need to start their healing process and get them back on track to being healthy and happy. Our staff takes the time needed for each horse ensuring medicines are administered at correct times, hand walking daily if needed, placing your horse in a general vicinity where he or she can see other horses and people at all times during the day and daily grooming to maintain a healthy skin and coat care.

We offer aquatic therapy as a means of healing your horse faster and safer, without the concussion of ground work. Aquatic therapy is used widely around the world and proves as a safe and efficient way of healing.

Why Swim?

Swimming allows horses to freely exercise joints, tendons and muscles in a controlled, concussion free environment. Sore horses gain an edge to come back and feel revitalized while opening lung capacity, allowing the strengthening of muscles not normally worked during training. More oxygen to the body means less fatigue, giving your horse an advantage to win. Aquatic conditioning and therapy also allows horses to change their routine and break sourness of normal everyday training, making them happier and more content. If you swim, you win.
