For 65 years, Maui Meadow Farm is currently the oldest working Thoroughbred farm in Pennsylvania. Charles B. Lyman, a retired General, started the farm in 1946 after World War II. We have always stood stallions throughout the years and had the first syndicated stallion in Pennsylvania, Bold Effort, son of Bold Ruler and Roman Steps, a leading show horse stallion.
We offer many services, from the simple boarding of your personal horse, to rehabilitation, breeding, correction of problem horses and even breaking and training. Our competent staff are knowledgeable and always dedicated to serving our clients in the best way possible.
Maui Meadow Farm provides the benefit of our year round heated equine swimming pool for therapy, rehabilitation and alternative training at its best for any horse and any discipline. If you swim, you win.
Keeneland's highest priced broodmare was $260,000 Kinsey (winner of $134,810), a 4-year-old Delaware Township filly in foal to Arch. Kinsey is a full sister to Grade 3 winner Electrify (Multiple G1 winner of $666,890).
As with any responsible thoroughbred owner, their main concern when a thoroughbred is retired from racing is, "What happens now?" Take a peek at our Second Chance, Second Career Programs.
