We are the oldest working Thoroughbred farm in Pennsylvania. My grandfather, Charles B. Lyman, a retired General, started the farm in 1946 after World War II. We have always stood stallions through the years and had the first syndicated stallion in Pennsylvania, Bold Effort, son of Bold Ruler and Roman Steps, a leading show horse stallion. Besides the meticulous care of our horses and facilities, another unique feature and benefit of our facilities is our year round equine swimming poor for therapy, rehabilitation and alternative training at its best. If you swim, you win! I hope you enjoy our website and please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. - Charles B. Lyman III
